MaçonA French word means “Builder, Creator”, With the motto "Be the change you wish to see".



 A Student-driven cell which is set up to foster entrepreneurship spirit among the young talents. In the process of nurturing and  Harnessing creativity by inculcating a culture of innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. Maçon has been a Hotspot for more than 50 startups and new ideas every year since 2008. All these are have been successful through various sessions of Me-Gang and In-Cube sessions, boot camps, workshops, guest lectures and crosswords. This Ecosystem at IBS Hyderabad was started by Mr Anup Agarwal and currently mentored by Prof. Anitha Acharya

E-Week is a flagship event of Maçon which aims to bring together entrepreneurs, students and industry experts to create an ambience for new ideas and Startups. E-Week is a whole package for budding student Entrepreneurs and talented minds to meet new ideas and fellow Entrepreneurs. This event hosts to a multitude of Guest lectures, B plan competitions, Panel Discussions, Internship Drive and is celebrated for over a week at IBS Hyderabad Campus.

INTERNET PENETRATION IN INDIA

Internet penetration in the urban region is not an accurate marker of the digital progress of India as the utility of the internet — application of the internet for daily life and trade activities — is very different between urban and rural populations. As pointed out above, 81.32% of the total population has access to the internet, which translates into approximately 365 Mn of the 450 Mn urban inhabitants of India. In contrast, the figures in rural India are quite the reverse. A mere 21.46% rural inhabitants — or 194 Mn of 904 Mn people — had access to the internet as of 2018. Market Share of Indian Telecom Industry

Bharti Airtel continued to be the market leader even after Jio entered the market, the penetration pricing strategy of reliance Jio made it defeat its close competitor Bharti airtel. Airtel managed to continue with its position in the telecom market by introducing cashback on the night usage of data. Jio made it to the second position after Vodafone- Idea, the first position remains with Vodafone- idea as their merger eliminated the competition and challenged other operators. In lieu of this competition in the telecom market, the consumers enjoyed free data and calling facilities with night and day packs.
